The best way for me to express my imagination is to take the beloved Clay and transform it. I have enjoyed to know about the techniques of Ceramic sculpture, as well as traditional forms of pottery making. Seeing the world differently and finding the ways of looking at Ceramic works of art has inspired me to challenge myself. I felt that I needed to make my work in a way that would reflect my own culture and where I come from, even though I still have a lot to learn about my own history. I am committed to clay not only for the traditional expression of the medium, but for the future challenge of creating my own forms. |
